Pentecost

When we begin to understand the significance of Pentecost to Israel we step into a greater understanding of what it’s significance is to us as New Covenant Believers. The Feast of Pentecost was a celebration of the beginning of harvest but looking forward to the great fall harvest. On the day of Pentecost as we see it in Acts 2, we see the beginning of the harvest (3,000 souls) because of the former rain of the Holy Spirit. But the greatest harvest is coming in the latter rain (outpouring of the Holy Spirit).
