There is a connection in the Scriptures between praying in our personal prayer language and experiencing rest and refreshing (Isaiah 28:11-12). Paul quotes Isaiah 28:11 in his informative chapter about tongues in 1 Corinthians 14. Praying in tongues or praying in the spirit has great value for the Christian.
