The hopes and dreams of all the disciples were shattered when Jesus died on the cross. It was devastating, even though Jesus had warned them it was coming. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12. This is a message about the joy the hope we have because of Jesus’ resurrection.
